Going to Vegas in August.. need BAIC advice!

I'm going to Vegas for 3 days in August.

Where are the best places to stay for college aged peeps? Best clubs? Best bars?

I'm not on a strict budget. I want to stay on the strip.

Anything that I should know or any recommendations?

I'm thinking about driving there.

But yeah.. let me know what you know.

XS at Encore is the hottest club in Vegas right now. I like Tabu and Prive as well too.

Be prepared to break some bread though. Tables ain't cheap.

not on a strict budget? MGM is always fun to stay at...if you feel like you wanna be ballin, try the Wynn. Unbeatable weekend brunch buffet btw.
Tao, Tryst, and Body English, and Tabu are the only clubs I remember being at...the rest is a blur.

best bars? while ur sitting at a table, gettin free drinks.

If you want some good local advice, check www.flat4lv.com, I'm a member on there more than anywhere else. I know most of the guys and frequently go to vegas. They would be able to tell you pretty much everything you need to know and some.

I'd stay at the Encore, big rooms. Or if u want a really big room, try The Hotel at Mandalay Bay. It's priced competitively, only downside is that you're all the way at one end of the strip.
If you want to get away from all the noisiness, try the Trump Hotel. I've stayed there and it's nice and quiet for a change. They have no casino or buffet, but their rooms are really private (u have to walk through 2 sets of doors to get into your room), they're big, and the bathroom is huge (there's a tv inside the bathroom as well). They're all suites so they include a small kitchen, empty fridge, toaster, frying pan, etc. Only downside is that there's no other bedding options other than a single king size bed (along with a sofa bed).

I've also tried the Bellagio, and the experience wasn't as great as far as overall room experience goes. The hallways leading to your room are dark, it has a dank smell, and the fridge isn't usable (has drinks and snacks inside but if u touch it you bought it for a premium price). Bathroom is nice and big, but not as big as the Trump hotel and no tv inside bathroom It's also much noisier.

But if you're digging the college scene, try Planet Hollywood. No experience staying there, but lots of hot women in scantily clad clothing around that area at night

I say Imperial Palace, its very affordable with a very good location, right in the middle of the strip. The other hotels mentioned are very nice, but most college kids r on a budget and Imperial Palace is where you'll find most of them at.

Yes, Imperial Palace has a great location in the middle of the strip, but I'd never stay there again, regardless of how broke I was. I stayed at the Imperial Palace once, and the rooms are crappy as hell. If you're on a budget, Luxor, MGM Grand, Monte Carlo typically has cheap rates, and are close enough to the action. The MGM pool is awesome.

Clubs that are I like are XS, Tryst, Tao/Tao Beach, and Pure. If you have all guys, good luck getting in. Come early or find girls in line to even out the ratio. Expect to wait in line for at least an hour if not two. You probably can't afford a table (they are expensive as hell), but the good thing about most Vegas clubs is that they offer In & Out priviledges. Do yourself a favor, go early, get your hand stamped, leave and get drinks elsewhere, and go back to the club. Drinks are easily $15+ inside.

just dont go...

lol just don;t go to vegas.... haha.

I'm not a big fan of Vegas no more... It's just a money pit.... We all go... thinnking we'll get lucky and pick up some chick.....or win big at the tables. Likely hood of that happening are super slim (keep in mind i'm a sexy sob). The clubs have hot chicks but you;re squashed, suffocating along with the other hundred of dudes in there! All Vegas is good for is eye candy.....and i don;t think staring at girls for thousands of dollars ( at least how much my friends end up paying) is worth it...... Rather go to Hawaii with real scenery and chillax on the beach and see boobies...

My rant..... Other then that..... Palazzo, Venetian, Tao, Tao beach, body english, tryst blah blah... you;lll figure it out.

You don't go to vegas for the room, you go for everything outside it. The Imperial palace is the *****in spot to not only hit up other college age people but to have the perfect location to get anywhere.
