Going to Socal.

I'm going to Socal for the first time in over 10 years (yeah, I don't get out much), what should I go do? I'll be there for 4 or so days with my boyfriend, and he has a pretty good feel for the area. We're going to Disneyland for New Years. I've been told to go check out Autobacs, too. There's always shopping, of course, but what else is there to go check out?

hollywood is cool, lots of clubs, bars, and women all over the place.

I'll be there for new years as well.

I would steer clear of autobacs, its a over-priced glory store for the rice-boys

Tommy's, Roscoes, perhaps 3rd street in SM, Sunset for clubs

yeah ive been there, autobacs is a ricer store. the only cool thing they have there IMHO is all the coilovers out on display and all the racing seats to check out. Other than that its lame.

You should come down to long beach and visit me chelsea!

Kettleman City In-N-Out on the I-5... a beautiful shining oasis of 4x4 animal style burgers and crispy fries... no trip to socal is complete without the In-N-Out stop if you take the I-5. I think I'm starting to repeat myself, but to summarzie I-5 + In-N-Out = good

It really depends on what you guys want to do? Sight seeing? Shopping? amusement parks? We have fantastic restruants (this would of course, raise the question of what type of food do you like?)

Don't forget to fill up at buttonwillows. It's the cheapest gas on the way to socal.
Trust me. Other places have gas at 2.80/gal
If you fill up before you leave, you should have about 1/4 of a tank upon arriving to Buttenwillows.

Have fun!
