Damnit Andy you beat me to the punch. My thread title would of been the same too. LOL the Broncos defense dominated the Raiders. I swear the Raiders have the crappiest run defense i have ever seen. Any team with a decent offensive line and a quick RB will dominate the raiders. Gannon didnt look too happy tonight maybe because he got smoked.

I am a Raiders fan....an embarassed one. I picked them to loose...went 13-3 this weekend.
bottom line....callahan sucks...he is way to predictable...can not make mid game adjustments. he doesn't use the run game or the tight ends enough. And without porter he really had to step it up as a coach...obviously he didn't.....only coach I have thought should be fired except Mike White.
It is so obvious that gruden took 2 teams to the super bowl last year.

1) i'm not embarassed at all. No one should ever be embarrassed if they truly love a team.
2a) The problem isn't Callahan. The coaching staff seemed to me, from what little i saw, didn't make good decisions tonight at all. Gannon is a smart, GOOD QB. They should have let him do his thing.
2b) The problem IS AL DAVIS... that guy is just a freaking greedy, old moron. I HATE AL DAVIS
He absolutley won't let the coaches make the decisions on which players to have, and keeps such a constriction on the team... He's like .5" exhaust piping on a turbo car...-Gagan

The cowboys lol. I guess i dont hate them as much as i used to but damn it was a good game against the Giants. I hate shockey more than anyone on the cowboys so go cowboys on that one. But the cowboys arent going anywhere this season just like the last half decade.

You will see, the Raider are predictable, unless Callahan gets his act together they will finish 8-8 not go to the playoffs and he will be looking for a new job. As far a Tressmen goes, who would hire that guy after the spectacular performance he gave for the 49ers? Al Davis is the reason the Raiders will suck just like Jerry Jones is the reason the Cowboys will suck. Owners belong in the owners box siging checks, not making front office decisions, that is what the GM is for. I give Parcells 2 years in Dallas before he is fed up.

the raiders had their only shot last year. they have not won anything since who knows, look at the stats people. There is nothing wrong with enthusiasm, but for the love of god, get real and look at the hard numbers. sorry to be the realist.
they had a bunch of LA fans on the radio that claimed to be die hard raider fans and could not name one person on the team, they had comments like "I just like the colors and go raider nation." cheer for your team, but please be realistic, the raiders are up there with the Bengals and the Browns. Great team to root for but they don't have a prayer.

jolt....did you watch the game? The freaking defense was calling the offenses plays...just like TB was in the subpar bowl. Callahan has gotten so predictable that even non gruden teams are calling his plays. He is too much of a sissy to lead this team...you need someone that has the ***** to get in the players faces....be a man...make his own decision. You are right on davis...the man is an extremely smart football mind but needs to let his coaches coach...his being in everyone's faces brings moral down and makes his coaches look like dumb asses.
and as for letting gannon do his thing....they tried...he over threw so many passes it is rediculous....that's gannon's fault no one elses. The one they didn't give time is garner. How do you have one of the best run/pass threats in the game and give him 4 freakin carries? 2.3 yards a carry...so...that's only 4 carries...you have to give a guy time if garner doesn't see about 15 carries a game or more the raiders will go 7-9. He needs 20 touches a game. running wins games...look at the teams with balanced attacks....they win...now look at all the teams like the raiders with 8/2 pass run ratings and look at how crappy they do.

that was hillarious! i was really hoping that he would punch him in the face too... man i guess it was just a really bad day for the raiders. i didnt realize that there was so much drama with the raiders... its like watching 90210 but with 300lbs white guys instead of tiffany amber theisen.

all the good raider coaches...the ones with *****......look what happened to them? gone. Davis will die soon and life as a raider fan will improve. He spends the money....he gets good players...he just makes bad coaching decisions and sticks his nose in too much...kinda like that biatch in that any given sunday movie.

Hey, the Raiders didn't just get RAPED on MNF, they got GAPED!!!
As far as Al "paying the money, getting the players", I don't completely agree with that view.
SeaBass was a bad pickup, in retrospect, as a 1st. round pick was needed more for an O-lineman.
I don't know if Derrick Gibson was a good pickup, he can't hang on to a starting safety spot.
I knew Jerry Porter was a total softie when Zack Bronson took his shoulder out with a clean, simple sideline tackle a year or so ago.
Trace Armstrong was pure bad luck, getting injured his 1st. season with the Raiders. They just don't make veteran DE's like they used to, since Roy Barker & Chris Doleman are out of the league.
At least Matt Stinchcolm is now finally a starter, at center, after appearing to be yet another 1st. round bust, at O-tackle.
Lincoln Kennedy should have retired last year, poor guy is so banged-up, sad to watch.
Barry Sims has been a highlight reel about how not to play O-line!
Trestman must be fired or at least relegated to a non-important role, like "special offensive assistant", and sent back up to the booth, so we don't have to see him.
