http://www.lemanskarting.com/

I am beginning to like this place.
They are in the process of building a track that is partly outdoor and partly indoor.
Go check out their website.

Pfft...c'mon guys, you know Malibu is where it's at.

I worked at GoKart Racer for while, and I will honestly say that it's a much better facility than Speedring or LeMans in almost all aspects. Not biased or anything, just the truth. Karts are faster/newer/handle better, track surface is much grippier (significantly better than Speedring!), tracks are more exciting and technical (the Super Track owns), and we did a much better job at marshalling. You guys also wouldn't believe how much money was spent starting that place up compared to Speedring/LeMans, too.

I'd put Speedring in second, but LeMans is a total joke. They have absolutely no regard for safety whatsoever and track marshals aren't even in communication with each other. Some of might think this is "fun", but trust me...broken ribs aren't. There is a reason they are teetering on bankruptcy, along with Speedring too.

One bad thing about Go Kart Racer though...it killed all the racing on Adrian Road.

Speedring sucks. The karts are old and are slow as hell. Lemans is a little bit better but, the karts aren't maintained well. The last time I was there about a year ago, the kart I was driving lost it's brakes which sent me into the wall which in turn broke a rib. 4 months of pain later I started going to gokartracer. that place is way better than both lemans and speedring. I just wish that the track works would use the blue and yellow on the slow people instead of the black when you end up bumping them to get them out of your way.

I agree with Joe D and BillJC. Go Kart Racer is a way better track, better turns, better use of space, better surface, faster and better handling karts. LeMans is ghetto, people fight over the better karts which are all very inconsistent, the track is slippery, people keep getting stuck under the tires and moving the course barriers around, and the marshalls just kind let everything go, they never blue flag anyone and if they do no one ever cares. It turns into bumber cars.

That being said I still like Lemans, you get way more for your money. You get about 5 times the track time of go kart racer for your dollar becaue they kinda don't watch the clock. LeMans is not very proffesional but the employees are cool. They will come up to you and give you tips and drive with you and show you the line. It is more like go kart racing in your buddies backyard. If you want lots of track time for cheap and help learning how to drive I'd go to LeMans. If you have tons of cash go to go kart racer because the track, surface, karts, and marshalls are better.
