GO (Insert Lakers Opponent Here) !!!1!
Whats up with so many Laker fans being thugs. Maybe it's just a Sacramento thing...but so many of the Laker fans I see in Sactown all try so hard to be "gangsta" looking. The first words that pop out of their mouths are "f#@*" and "b$@#!". Not that Kings fans are much better, but they do seem less Bloods&Crips wannabes.
Probably just a Sac thing cause there's nothing else to do there. Haven't seen much of it down here in the South Bay

Kareem > Shaq. Skyhook > EVERYTHING!!! But those were the days when Laker chemistry was UNBEATABLE... now with 4 (likely) Hall of Famers in the starting lineup, they're getting their asses handed to them by 1 definite hall of famer & one potential with a supporting cast from around the world???
If I had never known basketball & you were to show me the Laker starters on a paper w/stats & then show me the San Antonio starting 5 w/stats, I would LAUGH IN YOUR FACE if you said the Spurs just kicked the **** out of the Lakers TWICE by TEN POINTS!!! Unpossible I would have thought... INTANGIBLES, the **** that goes beyond numbers & stats is where it matters... Chemistry... if the Lakers had that, even I the most loyal of Spurs fans, would say the Spurs are YESTERDAY'S MEAT... but there's something just not right with the Lakers... can't really put my finger on it, but 4 Hall of Famers in the starting lineup getting their asses kicked is VERY UNUSUAL...

As for Tony Parker being consistent it counts when its the playoffs right?
Oh yeah Steve once the Kings finish off the Wolves your Spurs better be ready but for now we must join together to fight a common enemy. The Lakers!

Preach on !
I enjoy any other series against any other team in the NBA. When the Kings play the Lakers ( or when the Lakers play any other team I should say ) all that happens is tons of trash talking and other useless comments.
Kings vs Spurs would be great games to watch, but everyone needs to get past the current round before we start counting chickens

I hate to say this, but man, a lot of Lakers fans are annoying as hell. That discourages me even more to root for these guys even though I like Shaq (since Orlando) and Gary Payton (since the Seattle Sonics). Man, I remember the days when the lineup had Elden Campbell, Vlade Divac, Eddie Jones, and Nick Van Exel. I loved Eddie Jones when he was a Laker. Hahaha...I even remembered when Magic Johnson was the head coach for one season and came back to play too. I remember that game against the Warriors when he did return and helped that team into the playoffs. Magic looked so slow, but he was still amazing to watch regardless. At the time, I was new to NBA basketball, so seeing Magic play for the first time was awesome. Oh man. Those were the days.

I was there for the game when Magic came back. I was going to school in LA at the time. It was crazy! driving in people were offering thousands of dollars for a ticket. My girlfriend at the time bought us the tix because I wanted to go see the Warriors at the Forum, she wanted to sell the tix but it was history too bad the Warriors lost. I still have the program for that game. Jerry West sure gambled... Vlade for Kobe (good), Eddie/Elden for Rice (bad) just imagine if they didn't make that trade, signing Fisher to long term contract huh?why? but you gotta give it up to him, he got the grizz in the playoffs.
sorry mailman/GP, but no ring this year. achilles heel... a fast, scoring PG. LA should have lost a couple years ago to Sac when Fisher was hacking the crap out of Bibby. it was funny, when shaq was shooting free throw in the 4th, I told my brother, they should just foul shaq the rest of the time he is like below 50% from the line. he makes both, then misses the next two. I said told you, law of averages. pathetic.

Gary Payton has lost a lot more than i thought he had the past couple seasons. He cant play defense worth crap anymore. who's gonna guard parker? Fisher? hahahaha. that guy is HORRIBLE. i dont know why the lakers even keep him around. The lakers have the 2 biggest poseurs in the league. Fox and Fisher. They both think they are the bomb for some odd reason, when they both suck. I could take either one of those chumps. and shaq has been lazy ALL season. trust me, he was on my fantasy team. his lazy butt cost me a championship!
btw.. GO WARRIORS!

Goooo KOBELIPPERS! Kobe will hopefully sign with the LA Clippers. Then it'll be Kobe and the Clip Show co-starring with Elton Brand and Corey Maggette!

Q's a free agent though. If they can get Kobe, they obviously don't need Q-Rich. As for Phoenix, Joe Johnson's just starting to emerge. I would say that Denver has the money to pay Kobe, but you know him and Colorado. He'd be boo'ed to no end.
