i am just not cheering for them again until they get out of the first round!!!! They are 0-9 when they have a chance to eliminate the other team.

 

their stars need to step up when it counts in the post season. This has happened for the past 4 years.

they are on fire in the regular season, and then they all die post. Same thing happened in 88 with the A's, but in 89 they learned their lesson and got it done. I wish this batch would do the same

If he was so fired up about his admitedly clutch HR, then he should have congratulated himself for getting out of his slump, or taunted his teammates for getting down on him when he deserved every lick of it.

The a's need to dump some weight.....dye isn't worth 11 million but if they dump him now they are gonna have to pay most of his salery anyways....but we may need to dump him to hold onto tejada and jose...that man played his butt off.....broken hand and all.

I say rincon is gone...guy sucks. Singleton is worth having around.....so is tejada...they wouldn't have gotten there without him.

But long and dye are iffy.....letting durham go was complete foolishness. letting damon go was just as bad. Letting tejada go will be the stupist thing since mcguire.

A's need a money player....a guy that's feared...a 40 plus 115 rbi guy....someone like sexson.

 

hopefully they can attract a player that can make a difference. A good clutch hitter will make a difference for them right now. They have lots of them, but they just dont produce in the post season. Lets not have a 5th year of these same discussions

Tejada sucks guys. He always has to fight himself to lay off of pitches, and goes into funks WAY to often. His defence is good, but I just cant stand to watch him bat anymore, he just pisses me off too much.
