what you want to do, is record the events. just like it is legal for the cops to record your traffic stop, you can do the same thing.
even better is a second person in your car.

i wonder if they can do the same thing if the meet was at a 24 hour store like wal-mart or krispy kreme. "Officer, we're all here to have doughnuts at 1 A.M."
that gives me an idea of taking out my digital camera or cell phone and start recording if a cop is being an ****.

since most camera have video now, can you record while they are talking to you?
