I'm sure it was well worth it. Jen looked very happy with the car.

I guess I am confused too - it's got the GT500 engine, hood, wheels and the Cobra badges. I would say it's a Shelby GT500.

really? if you buy through truecar the participating dealers already agreed to the selling price. it's a guarantee from using the website.

i don't understand the secrecy about getting a good deal. it's not like 99% of i-club is going to contact that dealer and buy 1 tomorrow.

enjoy the car

Hey Jen & Bryan, you should bring that beast down to AutoX and learn how to get the most out of it under controlled, risk-free conditions

The Shelby GT-500 is about $50K with options. Maybe you are thinking of the Shelby GT-500KR or Super Snake? These are basically factory GT-500 that you can have prepped by Shelby Motors in Las Vegas with a bunch of extras. Depending on the amount of extras, you could leave paying more than $80K.

If anyone wants to look at the car etc you can see it at the Zen meet tonight.

Finally got my dream car and I love it! Only thing that sucks is the break in time haha. There are so many electronic things I need to learn on this car lol.

Yah the Super Snake is what I was talking about. What's the difference? One thing I can stand about the Mustangs is how much you can see over the hood. Seems you look level with the hood, with the STi you can look over tbe hood. Anyways very nice car, only Ford I would own is a Mustang! Whats HP on those 550?

I have no problem seeing over the hood though I thought I would when we just sat in it. After driving it I don't have any issues with the hood view. It's rated at 550 HP.

I'm not entirely sure of all the changes done for the super snake, but probably some cosmetic stuff, some interior trim, wheels, and obviously the power. The GT500 engine is rated at 550 hp, and you can get a super snake with the power upped to 800 (I think).

That's the fun of the rear wheel drive! I would love to race a car like that to see how my car would hang! The car is nice, love the white. The front end is amazing! Mustangs went bad for few years, the new 2011 is nice, glad they fixed the looks!
