Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence *kinda not work safe*

w00t, GitS 2 is opening tomorrow. I didn't hear about it until I saw the commercial a moment ago on MTV. The first Ghost in the Shell was one of the first anime movies I saw back when I was a n00b to anime. The commercial looked pretty cool. Anyone gonna go see it?

I have episodes of the TV series, Standalone Complex, I just never got around to watching it for the past 3 years. Haha.

The only place showing it in the east bay area or remotely close to San Leandro (where I live) is the Shattuck Cinemas in Berkeley.

I'm sure it'll expand showings to more theaters if it does well. Just like Spirited Away did. Man, anime's gone a long way since I started. Anything other than Dragonball Z, Samurai Pizza Cats, and Sailor Moon being aired on TV, let alone on the big silver screen back when I started was UNHEARD OF!

You guys are anime n00bs. Especially you Walt!

Nah, I keed I keed. Back in the day, I was big on "Appleseed" and "Dominion: Tank Police", but for some strange reason never got big on "Ghost in the Shell" But that won't stop me from watching da movie (as long as it's in the original Japanese voices!)

You're all n00bs. I'm all about multi penile tentacle rapes a la overfiend. My favorite concept in anime, which can be found in some erotic horror hentai titles, where various tentacled monsters violently rape or otherwise impale young women.

I love the screams of each female victim as the tentacles STRONGLY penetrate the oral, ****, auditory and vaginal regions. OOHH! GOOOD YYEEEEAHHH!!

I'm old school you little biatches, tentacled creatures have appeared in Japanese erotica long before animated pornography appeared; among the most famous of the early instances (and perhaps the first) is a Hokusai woodcut called The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife, depicting a woman entwined and sexually molested by a pair of octopuses.

eh the first ghost in the shell movie was all right for it's time. I downloaded innocence, and haven't watched all of it, due to it's crap quality.

The Standalone complex episodes are BADASS. that's if you're into the plot twists plus politics of the whole thing with a good amount of cool action.

i'm missing like a good middle chunk of the first season of the standalone complex, but I have whatever is subbed right now for the 2nd season. great stuff.

Ah mang... I remember watching the first GitS. I couldn't stand it. I even have the episode series, it's a lot cooler. The commercial looked pretty awesome though, so I might have to see it. Let me know if it's good.
