Getting my windows tinted soon

Is Vince from Omega Tintworks in Pleasonton still our guy?

Also what do you guys think about these shades

Fronts: 35%
Rears: 20%

Also should the rear windshield be 20% as well?

Lastly inst there a certain amount of tint you can get on yoru windshield? like 4 inches from the top or some crap like that?

I want to have the CX-7's windows tinted too. Not being from Northern California makes it difficult to know who to go to.

Suggestions?

Yes... the both of you, go to Vincent... now it a great time since he's not as busy so setting an appointment will be much easier.

Also, for your CX-7, let him know you are an i-clubber but not not doing a subaru, he will still cut you a sweet deal for LIFETIME warranty work.

Yes, it's that good.

Arya: those are very good numbers. yes you can do the rear window at 20%. He'll show you the samples. I have 35% all around, cops have not bothered me about it for the 4.5 years now that I've had the tint.

20% is noticable darker, but the rear windows are home free for tinting. No the only thing that's illegal is tinting the drivers. passengers and front windshield.

I'm thinking of limo over the already tinted rears and then something slightly lighter in the front. Hmm...

I just had my FXT tinted by Vince last week. I actually got the same % as you're thinking about as well. That's what I had on my Legacy and I liked it a lot. Vince has done two cars for me, including my sister's, and the work is excellente!

My bro got his c6 tinted and 3M clear bra coated by vincent @ omega. He told me that Vincent might be so popular because he takes time and down to details. Too me, bro's tints and clear bra look perfect.

What did he charge to do the clear bra? I've gotten quotes from $400 to over $1000. Crazy.

Plus, I'm not sure I'm keeping this car for too long.

Any members with more of a gradient tint job? Was thinking about an uber light on driver/passenger, then 35 on the rears, and lastly 20 on the rear.

So I have been meaning to ask, I have talked to a whole bunch of people with tint who live in the Bay Area, asking for their experiences with police's reactions to the tint and the responses have been scattered all over the board.

I still want to get the tint, but I was wondering, if for some reason you are stoped by the police, can it be SOLELY for the tint, or would you have to be doing something else and have them just tack it on as an added fee?

Lastly if you do get the dreaded "Fix-It" Ticket, do you have to take it off or is there a workaround?

Looking foward to responses, Thank you
