It will be stinky while you drive around, because you're still running the car without cats. If you're on the freeway cops sitting on the side of the road obviously won't be able to smell it, but if they're behind you at a stoplight and you accelerate with no cats, they'll get a good wiff of the good stuff.

Goin catless aint that bad, Ive never smelled any fumes, my cars never stank(even while start up).... Seriously I have never had any stink problems due to my catless turbo back(vishnu turbo back). And as far as being cought with a catless tb, only thing that has ever happened to me was officer said it was too loud and I had to pay a 75.00 ticket end of story, and I've had this set up mor than 1 and a half years.

thanks for the replies to those of you answered. So from what I gather from some of the replies is that it's not so much whether or not you're running catless...but more on how much effort the cop puts in to bust your ***** when they pull you over.

Who the hell are YOU?! Just about every catless setup (Vishnu's included) I've been near has smelled like hot beef, and even the stock setup with 3 cats smells like **** when it's cold.

Either you're the King of the Land of B.S. or you have really, really bad allergies year-round. Either way, I feel sorry for you.

Now let's all be more polite on the boards, eh?

Just don't get caught in Fremont, most cops will just give you a ticket to the ref because they really don't want to sit and wait for your car to be towed. That's from my experience and from I've heard from.. Actually I haven't ever heard of anyone gettin' towed on the money just for runnin' catless... I'm sure they want to stay quiet 'cuz they probably did somethin' more stupid to get towed. =P
