Dude I knew crashed like that, but at low speed and he was wearing full gear. Chick made a late red light left turn in front of him and he went over the top of her car. Fortunately, he only broke his hip and was otherwise OK. The crazy thing is, I was at the light when it happened

but I was a few cars back and didn't see it happen, just the aftermath.
