I had something similar happen one night except it was a car sideways on a narrow 2 lane road making a u-turn and I was moving pretty quick, but fortunately not so quick that I couldn't correct. Had to go around him in the other lane. The worst one though was a big buck on Old Santa Rita Rd. It was like midnight and I was moving well in excess and it was foggy. The buck was just standing in the middle of the road and I almost lost it going around him.
