GC's

Is it just me or have the number of GC's gone down. Is it because most of the new imprezas come turbo now and no one wants to fix up the gc's?
I love this body style and wish there was a bit more on the road. just my thoughts

I still have mine, just don't drive it as much. I toss around the idea of selling it and 'blending in' again with another WRX but it's like a pet and a symbol of one of my favourite times I have been through. Plus it's damn fun to drive. And you can't beat the 2 door body (IMHO).

Sad but true... GC's are getting older and phasing out slowly...

I still have mine, I just can't give it up. I'm one of the only guys in SRIC with a GC.

Yeah. I have an Impreza L. I really like the body style. I hope to do something with it in the future. I kind of want to do an engine swap, but the parts and labor is almost as much as a used WRX.

Yup... BRP GM6 here as well. I don't think I can sell my car... I don't want to either, glad I paid cash for it!

I still love a nice GC. I just decided on going with a car that comes with the turbo (06 WRX) over swapping something into the GC. I would still like to have one. I'd probably get an older Forester to swap something into before the GC though, since I already have an Impreza.

I love mine and will keep in for a long time. who knows maybe in a few years it will become a classic, like the old mustangs or cameros.

Not really a GC but a GF:

I actualy sold My 02WRX to get to this. I always wanted to own an old school wagon with a turbo...and now I do.

That's gorgeous. I had my '03 WRX (bought new) and then saw this '01 coupe that was priced nice and I couldn't pass it up (test drove, then sprinted to ATM for deposit). I kept both for a while (with my '95 coupe too) and I just didn't enjoy the WRX as much, so I sold it and kept the RS.
