Question gc/gm wrx swap fuel delivery issue CEL P2030

Hi bay area folks, I have a 98rs with a full 03 wrx drivetrain and interior swap, everything went well and bolted up fine. Please note when I say everything, the motor, tranny, engine harness, ecu diff, fuel tank/evap system, are all from the 03 wrx.

All went well until it started throwing a P0230 code (Fuel Pump Primary Circuit Malfunction). Tried clearing it, came right back so there's got to be a problem somewhere with the wiring from the fuel pump to the engine harness. Only a few wires were spliced, can fires up, idles fine, so I am assuming it might be a bad ground for the relay.

Anyone else have experience with this? Any help is greatly appreciated!

How did you do the wiring? Spliced the lights, windows, locks etc?

If its all non essential stuff, my guess is a ground or a pinch.
