Car Info: The Fit is gone!
Need a shop boy on the weekends? I have a job during the week, but having another job would be cool. Need more money to fix up the Subaru. Im gonna be 18 in April, Im not that mechanically inclined, but I can do other stuff. Sweep, clean up, whatever else is needed. Let me know if youre interested or have any questions...

Gino and guys at MPJ: Just to let you know, the KSR200 steering bushings were NOT the right ones for my '95 L. I dont even know if the 202's are the right ones... Take a look at the comparo to the stock bushings:

Stop by the shop and let me do your set for free if you have not yet installed them. Let me check the ones I have at the shop and if it fits you car okay. If not, no worries we will get you the correct ones and installation will be free on the replacement for the inconvinience.

Oh and if the clamp is on it. It will fit coz the stockers are wider than the replacement to keep it in place.

Maybe they packaged it incorrectly at Whiteline or we shipped the wrong ones, wouldnt be the first .lol.

Also using grease on those bushings I do not recomend at all they are not meant to slide at all and grease will defeat the purpose of keeping the steering rack in place, absoloutly no movement at all on those bushings is the best.

see you soon

Question

Gino about how much time in advance do I need to arrange to get an up-pipe install and some help hooking up some gauges & spark plugs? I am waiting on the gauges and gaskets via UPS and expect them sometime next week. My hope is to drive over to your shop have the up-pipe installed along with gauges and then drive over to Vishnu and have them re-flash the ECU. I would need to negotiate with them as far as date and time as well.

So simply put how much time does it take to install up-pipe and hook up some gauges and plugs? Hopefully this could be on the 14 which is next friday.

Thanks

I got these through PDM, so I'm working it out with them... Just wanted to pass along the info in case you ran into the same issue sometime in the future

As far as installation, I can do that just fine... Got the driver side on in under 10 minutes and would have had the whole job done in about 30 minutes if not for the wrong sized bushing BTW, with gas prices as they are right now, it would end up costing like over $20 in gas for me to drive down there! I really wish I lived next door to you guys or something...
