What in the hell, lol. I doubt you can decide to be gay...you either are or not. I've met a few gay people in my life and I know for a fact taht if they had a choice they'd be straight and have a family and kids.

people just shouldnt affiliate themselves with things that do not affect them. if mary and lou get married down the street it doesnt affect you. you're happy for them, you arent happy for them. jim and steve get married down the street, it still doesnt affect you. you're either happy for them or not. What's the difference.
