Gauging interest: Tokyo Auto Salon 2008
hey there guys,
just wanted to see if anyone is interested in an almost once-in-a-lifetime trip back to jdm heaven...
Event : Tokyo Auto Salon
Date : January 10-15, 2008
this is part of a tour package through my friend who works at FCM Travel Solutions up in British Columbia....This is what it includes :
- Round trip, Economy class airfare to Tokyo, Japan.
- 4 nights accommodation (twin sharing) at the 5 star Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
- VIP pass to the Tokyo Auto Salon during Industry & Media day.
- Tour the Nismo Factory in Tokyo.
- Visit Toyota Mega Web, an interactive theme park of all that is Toyota!
- Tokyo guided tour - take in the sights and cultures of Japan.
- Transportation to and from Airport and Hotel.
- EXCLUSIVE AFTER PARTY AT A NIGHT CLUB IN ROPPONGI
- VIP DINNER AT KEIO PLAZA HOTEL
this is an awesome trip...aaron (international_b) and i went on it couple years ago...we also were able to hit up daikoku futo underneath the Yokohama Bridge. This is where all the japanese racers gather before they do their late nite runs on the wangan or drift sessions on the streets....it is a totally eye-opening experience to how much different it is over there then here, plus you get all the jdmness you can handle - cars and girls (who are HOT too, and not all of them have teh jdm-teeth either hahaha)

the price right now tentatively for entire trip is ~$1600.00

Holy mother of ****...........I found out 3 days ago that I get to go to Japan for almost the entire month of January to train with the Japanese Army. If I get off for those days you KNOW I will go. I've always wanted to.

in addition if you are willing to hangout for couple extra days I have arranged a tour of Mines Co. too and am also planning a trip to Top Secret to see Mr. Smokey himself lol....
