Since the "drinking club with a car problem" cliché is a good slogan not to be taken literally. I was thinking of a pricing a limo bus for a Pub Crawl. Second from the end, top row.

Before I do too much work, I want to find out interest. There are a couple of ways we can go. Cruise aroung SF to Mico breweries and pubs, or hit up SJ for a little of the same. I think we'd be better off in SF. There are a lot more choices to wet your whistle. Possibly set up of tour of the Anchor Steam Brewery as well. What's the point? Well if you love beer, you love bars, and your love for your car keeps you from partaking in the other two, this might be for you. During the planning stages ideas are open. SO lets here 'em.
Thanks,
Jeff

Obsolutely not. This is an official "meet your Subabrew Crew" Crawl. Frankly, Those who attend must share the same passion, so it's pretty much a given; there will be many more members to the crew. Anchor Steam is a great brewery to tour. After all they were the first to start the mcro brewery phenom. Oh yes, there will be a Speak Easy stop as well. Plus many many more. I can think of Thirty establishments off the top of my head. I will have to narrow the list down, of course.

Good deal Ed. When I get to work I will post up further developments.
For those interested:
The cost for the limo is going to be per occupancy. Meaning: The more we have to less you spend.
I am going to make every attempt to contact the pubs/breweries and see about hook ups. Being that this Crawl will begin at off peak hours maybe Noon/2pm. I'm sure they'd be willing.
In addition I want to end it in time so the last BART or Cal Train can be taken out of the city if need be." Friends don't let Friends Drink and Drive thier Subarus"
There will be some brainstorming in terms of a momento, I.E. T-shirt, key chain, barf bags, beer steins, something of that nature.

I would totally be down to design an official first annual meet your subabrew crew pub crawl logo for an official beer mug. just find a printer.
and if we do a limo...especially if it's a nice one...some places will allow front parking and hook ups on entry fees just to have it parked where people can see it...attention and what not. We did a club jump like that years ago.
speakeasy rips. So does the thirsty bear.
I'm down for the anchor steam tour...I'll just stay away from that one ale that's there most popular. Something about it I don't like...but hell if we hit it after a few stops I won't really give a damn..haaaaaaaaaa. better than buttwizard.
yeah....brainstorm with me on the shirt and pint glass/stein deal...I'll bring a pencil.

Oh man, myself and my girl would be SO down for this. I hope it happens on a weekend when I can do it! This is a great idea and we have been wanting to go to Anchor Steam for a while anyway!

nice list you have going. Places I've been and give the thumbs up....
Irish Bank
Thirsty Bear
Speakeasy
21st Amendment
The Plough and Stars
Gordon
Eldos
O'Kelly's....O'Reilly's....something like that.....it's off mission and new montgomery.
I've been to a few other places in the city but none I can recall enough to add to the list. Having worked there for 7 plus years I'd say anything within 5 blocks of either of my offices..haaaaa
