Rich, Pete, Ed - thanks for coming out this past weekend. Greg and I are looking forward to the dirt drive... hopefully my suspension/brake problems will be sorted out by then.

i too had a great time driving with you Ed. i just feel a little out of pratice. it's been too long since my regular challenging drives. but by the end of the day i felt much better.
i'm even more rusty on the dirt. but i still can't wait to get out there.

greg and silke thankyou so very much for Saturday's drive.

Haven't had any time yet to edit the vid... it was streamed straight off the camcorder at SBC. I'll send you (and Rich too) a link after we get it edited, compressed and hosted.

i tryed shotting some vid on saturday but couldn't get the camera to hold still. i shot going up the hill north of Jenner and most of Meyers Grade. but around every left hand turnt he camera would shift. so i decided to stop before the camera shot out the window.

Are you using a camera mount of any sort? We got a CruiseCam mount for ~$50 that clips to the headrest mounts on the pass. seat. Works alright I guess, unless the road is really bumpy. Then it gets a little shaky.

no i don't have a mount 'yet'. i'm planning on getting a tripod type to put in the back seat. i was just shoving my camera under the head rest and trying to keep it in there by cramming stuff undernieth it i know stupit. but i had to try.

well, i still need to drive the route. which i'm trying to do this weekend (may 20th) to see if the roads are driveable. after the winter's rain fall, they could really be messed up.

but if all goes well. i think i'm shooting for June 10th.
