The one on big basin(highway 9, in DT Saratoga) is 100 sunoco fuel @ a 76. if thats the same station we are talking about

Yeah it is. Thanks for that. I pass by it to go to my girlfriend. Couldn't remember what kind of station it was.

I run 1:3 mix of E85 to 91 pump. I'm on a 93 octane tune.

Not really. More like CA gas is like 89-90 octane...

It says in the manual that they are supposed to only be run on 93 octane, but that isn't an option in CA. Plus CA 91 is different than TX 91 octane.

The ECU will compensate (Especially the Bugeye ECU's) for the Octane Grade that you are running down to a point and up to a point. Lower end we are fine to run 91 Octane you just have to watch out for any signs of the car having been given a poor tank of gas. Then it can go above 93 Octane as well. It's something between 94-96 Octane is the upper limit of what the ECU can really compensate for, after that it is just a waste of money as without a Proper Tune the car's ECU can only do so much and you could end up doing more harm than good.

76 on almaden. i normally buy 5 gall of 100 plus 10 ish 91. good stuff. makes the engine run hotter though.

The bugeye ECU is the best ECU outta all the turbo model subarus that came over here.

In Japan the Spec C RA S202 VER7 is known to have one of the best ECUs coincidence much in years?
