Gamers....shooters.

hey guys...I do these game deals every now and again where I get paid to play.

I just got offered one but I just don't think I'm down to sign away 11 weeks in a row for what they're offering....but if you're board and want some money...not to mention a chance to play some cool new games...I played Shadow of Rome like 6 months ago.

Let me know if anyone of you guys does this...it's fun.

check it...
Hi!

Nichols Research has another gamer study in which we are looking for
males, age 18-34 to participate. The study is about CD-Rom games,
specifically shooter types. The study is taking place in Redwood City at
Electronic Arts, a major game manufacturer. It is important that you know
this study is very different from our normal focus groups.

We are attempting to sign up 12 men who will have at least 9 of the
next 11 Wednesday nights open to come to a new group each Wed. night,
starting this Wednesday, March 2nd. The last session is Wednesday May 11.
It runs from 5:30-8:30PM and 2 hours of each group is game-play! You
will earn $50 per session and IF you've attended at least 9 of the 11,
you be paid an additional $50 per session (potential earning $1100).
There are some other great incentives such as name credit in 'Special
Thanks' programmed into a new game and free EA games.

Please reply ONLY to this email with the following information:

Your name:

Your Age:

Do you own Battlefield 1942 or Battlefield Vietnam? (YES OR NO)

Do you own ANY of these games: Medal of Honor Allied Assault or Pacific
Assault, Call of Duty, Counter Strike, Doom 3, Star Wars Battlefront,
Unreal
Tournament 2004, Half Life 2, or Tribes: Vengeance? (YES OR NO)

Your contact number after 5pm:

You can forward this on to a friend if you don't feel you'd qualify but
they
might. We can't have friends attend together.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Nichols Research, Inc.

**PLEASE NOTE: We cannot extend an invitation to anyone without going
through a preliminary questionnaire over the phone. Please be aware
that you will not be scheduled for this study until you have been
screened and officially invited.

We cannot guarantee that we will call back everyone who responds once a
project has been completed. The groups may be filled by the time you
respond to this message.

I already play WoW, UT2k4, Doom3 and Quake 3: Urban Terror at work while getting paid. Traveling to Redwood City every Wednesday for a focus group seems somewhat tolerable.

it's pretty cool. I usually don't do them unless it's at least $75 a night. Just because I usually have to leave work early and then drive. Plus I have too much going on right now to give them damn near 3 months of wed. But it sounds fun. And they do hook you up when you do these longer type ones. free games. Convention hook ups. Stuff like that. And you get to meet people.

"Boss"? He's an avid gamer. My "supervisor" comes in around 9am and we all gather around his desk to talk about the previous night's happenings in WoW (that is if we're not busy with a quest or instance). We do still work, answer phones and email.
