for those who don't feel like watching, this guy had surgery so that his nerve endings are now connected to a robotic hand and his brain actually tells the hand what to do. Also there are sensors in that hand that connect to his nerves so he can have the sensation of touch back. Frickin unbelievable stuff.

I did a term paper last semester on things that were in sci-fi books/movies that have come in to existence. It's amazing how many things actually make it into reality.
