So stoked. I think this is much more realistic than the 914. THe 914 would have been rad but fact of the matter is that you had a bad base to start with and a lot of fabrication ahead of you.

The GC platform and subaru in general you are very familiar with and what difficulties you hit can be solved by a phone call to GST or LIC. I can't friggin wait.

Call me when you get back so we can make some space in your garage.

ONLY way wide wheels go on that car will be after wide fenders do and will come with appropriate tires. haaaaa.

Clean *** car. I'm looking forward to it's progress and helping out. Don't forget... you have a giant compressor in my garage which will be a huge help down the road.

Of course. The 914 was a heart ache from day one> I wish I would have left it as it was. I just got it running right and tore it apart the next day. This will not suffer the same fate.

If you guys need some help, let me know and I'll come over if I'm in town.

Jeff, is it a 2 door or 4 door?

Yeah it's. Silverthorne I think it's called. that silvery tan color. Super clean.

It was a perfect set up for jeff... hell it would have been perfect for anyone looking to do a swap.

I'm really looking forward to seeing it roll out and make progress.

Yeah from reading the add I'm pretty sure it was a 2.5 swap. The ad said perfect for an STI swap. I think if he had a 2.0 in there he would have said perfect for a wrx swap.

Yeah I tried to get a peak. I don't think so though. Looks all stock RS under there. Has the stock wheels. Could be wrong though. Hope I'm wrong.

You could probably run that extra LGT stuff you have though.

I could go take a look for you... haaaa. Check in on it for you.

Yeah brembos would do a lot on a car that light but you might as well find an aftermarket set up.
