Choku - I love toy park! Hakuhinkan I spent days there when I was a young boy haha

And the metro building in shinjuku is cheaper but the window frames limit the viewing pleasure I think...I haven't been to skytree yet but my mom and grandpa say its way better than roppongi hills (they live in shinjuku-akasaka or something like that hah its been a few years since I've been back)

Hakone was always on the list to go to, awesome sitting in all the different onsen

Ditto on not shoppin in akihabara, although it is a really cool place to visit...we used to shop at sakura-ya but I think they all closed

Visit Tams in Akihabara though hella model cars and etc.
I spent a good..... Im not gonna even say what I spent there. Ill say I brought back at least 6 figures and etc.

Hakone has great hot springs. Went there 7 years ago. Went to Kusatsu last year.

Oh try a public bath out seriously it's completely cultural and not near american. But if they have tattoos I dunno depends on what they are.

Kyoto:
For culture, Ginkakuji Temple and Kinkakuji Temple forsure. I'd personally go to Kinkakuji Temple first as its very beautiful, and make sure to leave EARLY! or else the place gets stacked with tourists...

Kiyomizu-dera is another very beautiful temple, and has a very nice view of the city.

Ryoanji is a very calming place after going around the city. This spot is famous for its rock garden, and when you're there, you just feel like you're spiritually there as its so calming. Hard to explain, it's one of those things you have to try your self.

Shijo Dori is another interesting spot!

Osaka:
Osaka Castle, its one amazing castle to visit, and walking into it is just spectacular.

_____
Other places:
To contrast between old culture and new, id reccomend visiting Harajuku. It's quite interesting.

Roppongi Hills, very nice location for shopping

Odaiba!! You can see the rainbow bridge, NHK TV world building, and some other things.

Id reccomend trying Tako-yaki, Shabu-Shabu (buffet is liek 2600 yen depending on day), and Okonomiyaki

I have a full sleeve on my left arm, half sleeve on my right, bunch on my legs and was not allowed into a public bath house the few times we tried.

Private Onsens were fine.

Yeah, I used to do all my electronics shopping at Sakuraya too! Was super shocked and super bummed when I heard they all closed down.
I still have a Kenwood CD deck cardboard box covered with Sakuraya stickers and the stick-on handle the sales girl made for me sitting in my parents' basement haha!
