If you guys didnt notice that he had a nice list of mods done to the vette, and think it took him all the way to third to catch him.
Quarter mile is over by then

I'd just like to point out that everything the vette owners talked about with reguard to racing a WRX was in the context of a street race, or drag race of some sort....OFCOURSE they will smoke a WRX in a straight line(with a few exceptions) they have twice the motor and more torque, not to mention much taller gears on the high end.....I would like to see how much trash talking they would do if they tried to race a WRX in the twisties though. I would bet that they would not have much to say. I even thought about posting that comment up on their site to see what they say about the twisties. But declined to do so because I dont really wanna sign up to a message board for one post.

I was looking for a Vette to measure on my way to Tahoe last month on a snowbaord trip, but couldnt find one. Then I looked for one on my way to a Mountain Bike race (unpaved roads), couldn't find one. I guess I should go look at the local bowling alley.

I actually like Vettes, and I grew up owning variouse modified Chevy muscle. I have a WRX now so I don't have to make excuses.

Yeah look at that jarhead No2's response on the second page this is why i left the service BTW: These WRX owners are a salty bunch and need to be put down at every opportunity Really, the only reason to buy this car is that it is pretty quick for not too much $$. I normally would not waste the gas on any car that is not worthy but these owners are too much.

If i was freddie (and others) and had a right to brag i'd put this guy in his place.

If you think a C5 or Z06 would beat us in the twisties, just wait until the Lotus Elise starts appearing... that car (with a competent driver) will eat almost anything costing twice the price.

laurex, yeah that was fun with the mustang guys. I am cool with them now. I even go to their website and chat sometimes. They realized now, that I (and others) can easily beat even their fastest (12.9) mustang.

But these Vette guys need to know too....here I go!! This is going to be fun!! lol (i will try to keep it cool)
