Hello guys,

Just got my '05 blue WRX. So far its been great (all of the 100 miles I driven)... Makes me remember my old Corrado (RIP) - nice handling, but I feel the WRX is going to be a lot faster ;-)

I was curios what are some fun roads I could drive around while breaking the car in? Since i cannot go above 4000 rpm i must compensate by twisties....

So far drove up/down skyline and the 1 (I live in SF). Fixing to head to Santa Cruz (17) on the weekend.

So cmmon - post your favorite BA drives, and maybe we can have it made a BA sticky. Please post if cops frequent a paritcular road, I am still researching radar detectors....

My daily commute is pretty good. Either down Skyline to Page Mill Rd, or farther down to Hwy 9 to Saratoga. OR the other way down Woodside Road (Traffic), Old La Honda Road ( VERY NARROW many cyclists). Check out Page Mill and Hwy 9 to Saratoga, AWESOME Roads, just be careful, saw a truck in the ditch of 9 yesterday, and I heard a motorcycle crashed near Alice's Restaurant, too.

 

go to stinson, from the exit to the beach, the road is rediculously smooth, go on weekday nights past 11:00, no cars, one or two cops. The best drive of the bay.
