It doesn't make any less boost (as far as my *** can tell, as i have yet to get ahold of a boost gauge) but that damn squirrel keeps getting louder and tries to talk more often.

It was kinda weird, then I told Mark that it sounded like I was getting compressor surge he kept asking me about my AC. He was like, "does it get worse when you turn the fan up?" he said he had never heard that sound before which is kinda wierd because i've seen many threads regarding that same problem here. oh well, if it's getting this much worse in such a short period of time, hopefullly it'll explode soon. they said they checked the wastegate but i'm almost posiutive that it's stuck. the next couple days should ne interesting. perhaps i can talk them into throwing on a T66 for a couple xtra bucks.

Well, if they replace it under warranty....they have to use a factory part....don't even tell them you want a different turbo...

then It could be like..."well heck if he's going to get rid of it anyway....." and then not replace it. NOT THAT THEY WOULD TRY TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT.....but......

Just find out if it is covered under warranty....if it is, buy your new turbo (T66), sell the NEW one (stocker) when you get the car back, and put the money from the NEW STOCKER back towards the T66...get it? It will be a swap!!

Well it was mostly a joke, (my car will be faster than yours at some point ) but thanks for the insight.

It would be pretty funny if your exhaust runsted through and went, "yeah, that'd be great if you could go ahead and replace it with full Vishnu Signature series under warrantee. Okay that'd be great, yeah, thanks."

BTW TD04s are going for like 1/10th the cost of T66s (trimmed for our 2.0s) now right?

Yeah a T66 wouldn't even spool on a stock EJ20.

Apparently you haven't planning for the future. hahaha jk
