FS: Jap Legecy B4 turbo engine
 

I know someone who is selling a, turbo B4 Legecy engine. It's sitting in his garage, never installed it. Anyone interested? approx. 1800.00 Details are a bit sketchy but if anyone's interested I'll get more info.

I assume this is an "old" B4 :(

And I assume you mean "Japanese"? You need to correct that! "***" is not an acceptable term, even if you are lazy! It is extremely deragatory!

what if you think about it this way: you didn't know it was derogatory and by no means meant it to be derogatory. why does one have to take offense to it of one knows the other party isn't trying to be offensive? just food for thought.

I'm asian and while I'm not japanese I never heard of it being offensive. I swear I've even seen "*** spec" and other stuff like that printed in magazines and such. R you sure your not being overly sensitive?? Eitherway sorry if I offended you.

i don't know what this engine drops into or anything like that. I believe it is a new engine though. The engine shouldn't be that old...If I'm not mistaken I think it's the engine that is used in the b4 now. I'll try to get some more specifics later.

I would love to take a look at it.

Well, you wouldn't call 20" dubs N**** wheels, or something from China a Chin* product. Certain things are VERY offensive. I am independant, not conservative. Or calling a bowl of Pho' *ooK soup. That would be like calling Mickey Thompson mud tires ******* tires.

It is widely known that *** is a racist term. As is Ni* and so on and so forth.

Non-English speaking Japanese know the harsh meaning of the term "***".

whoa, japanese culture is superior to other asian cultures? is it also superior to american culture? also, what ranking system are we using for this culture test?

also, do you give any credit to the school of thought that isn't bothered by someone who refers to something japanese as being "***?" one that can look beyond the word at hand and into the context in which the word was used and the person who used it. if the person didn't use the word in a derogatory sense, does that mean that they are being derogatory?

All that I am trying to say is that it is offensive to me, my wife (Who often browses the boards), and to most Japanese Nationals.

Can you not agree that JDM, or Japanese would have been more appropriate?

Context is no excuse for using that word, nor is the intent. Sorry, but I feel that it is wrong. PC is one thing, but this is a different issue entirely.

I will say no more.

I know that calling a Japanese person a ***, is just like Calling a Black Person a ******...its unacceptable..I am very surprised that most people are unaware of this...It was taught in World History in High School...but I guess most people sleep through that :)

Okay, I understand if you are offended by the term ***. But let me ask you this: What is the most derogatory term you could call a white guy? And for the sake of argument, we'll say that he is American with last name of Smith.
