ok, this just proved that this is a bull**** post...unless this person is really an idiot.
KnightRider: If you can't get girls w/o a car, chances are you won't get em with a sweet car, also if you think a 'turbo' badge is gonna get you a girl you really need to get back to reality...

Its not legal... we at least I know people who've gotten tickets for it. However, it seems less often. Basically, front plate (is not being enforced) because of red light cameras. If They can get your plate in the picture, they're generally happy.

it's illegal to not have a front plate
it's illegal to have things on the windshield that is over certain size. And I know for sure the plate is too big. I remember it's 7 in x ?? in. It's obstruction of view.

So either risk getting $10 fix it ticket, or front plate on.

no front plate = just a fix-it ticket.......I have gotten that one b4.

and I keep my front plate under the drivers seat, just in case I get busted for that one again....although the cop that busted me b4, said that even IF I were to bolt on my front plate real quick when she was standing there watching, she could still gimme the ticket, bcuz when she pulled me over it was NOT on the car.

I put a weapon R on my debaged WRX. I thought about one of those really big "H" symbols, but they just don't make them the right size for my car, I wonder what they are for?

Regarding the "put the plate in your trunk" solution, the cops on campus at my school have been known to drive around and ticket cars with no front place - while the owner of the car was in class or somewhere else on campus.

I'm sure that's applicable on the streets too - outside of a school campus.

What Kym says is true...I got a ticket in Oakland @ a meter??? I was pi**ed because I saw the meter had more time so I read the ticket which said, NO front plate. My friend got one in San Francisco for the same thing. I still don't have a front plate
