What do you do when the screws dont tighten? I already had to use larger screws from the dealer ones because those didnt work after i took them out to put the plate on in the first place... now the new ones are lose and my plate flaps around. Need advise.

 

This works on plastics for model cars is where I got this idea from.

Fill the hole with some CA glue from a hobby shop make sure you get slow drying thick stuff. Then you put the correct size screw that you want to use into the hole with the glue in it. The let the glue settle over night and you have made a tapping hole. that should be tight enought to support the plate. No guarantees but an idea that I do when I strip out threads in plastic.

 

If you can get to the backside of the bumper, get nuts and bolts and use those to hold it on.

 

Until you get ticketed for it. Not worth the hassle.

 

never gotten ticketed for no front plate... i just keep it in the trunk just in case...

 

ticketing is not the problem when u are going for looks...if u get ticketed u can always put the plate back one and get it signed off

Yea ive already tried that pretty soon my whole front bumper will be a giant bolt.
