well i finnally got a ticket for no front licenSe plate. cop pulled me over and handed me a ten dollar ticket after telling him there was no mount for my front plate. he said i had to drill into my car. according to the police it has to be mounted on the front of the car, so i cant just put it on my dash bord. well its only a $10 fix it ticket.

i was wandering what happens if you get a ticket for it a second or third time? does anyone have experiance with being a habitual no front licenSe plate haver?

I asked that question to the cop that gave me my ticket and i cant remember exactly but i think you get a nice big fine.

 

i have friends who choose to keep their front plate OFF no matter how many times they get pulled over. they dont mind paying $10 each time i guess. i think my buddy has gotten it more than a few times, so i dont think it makes a difference. just get it signed off and take it back off if you want to

 

This uses the stock holes (JDM spacing) in your bumper, and you can attach your license plate whenever you want.

I believe that Subydude has about 10 of them...and once I send him the hardware, he can start selling these.

i dont think its illegal at all. dont evos come with that bracket mounted on the side? i think as long as its in the front somewhere, youre cool

 

Mine's been off for 18 months. I have no plans on putting it back on because it looks stoopid.

 

so if i put a dinner plate in the front and wright licence on it, and tell cops its my licence plate. Will i get away with it?

 

Yeah, but only if you write "license" on it. Otherwise you will be cited and fined for terrible grammar.

 

I never get hassled about mine.

Just say you got your car detailed ( if it's not covered in mud ) or buy one of those JDM driftooo plate holders.

yea i got 2 license plate tickets the first was $10 fix it...the second time was $100 since it was a repeat citation however it was on a different car but i guess they kept the record....as for my wrx i still have no front license plate.
