Avoid Roseville except for test drives. Go to Maita or Shingle Springs to buy and get service.

Yup, Maita is my personal favorite, although I live closer to Shingle Springs.

I go to Shingle Springs for little things, but take my stuff to Maita for the big services.

Maita is cool, ask for chris jones like was already mentioned. Avoid Roseville, and shingle springs is ok. Also try out the Auburn dealership, and maybe even the fairfield one for good prices.

I got mine from the automall in roseville due just moving here and not knowing anywhere else to go. But anyway, the guy we bought ours from was pretty cool. He wasn't like any salesman I have delt with before. Wasn't pushy and really didn't care if he sold a car or not because he was trying to get a postal job and was just doing this as a temp job. His name was Louis De something. Short little portuguese guy that was real laid back. He said he only made $25 of the deal. Don't know if its true or not but he made my car buying experience a good one.

You need to post the rest of that story (or link it if you already did).

Yeah I read the story in a few weeks ago.

Its the first time I've ever heard anything bad about Shingle Springs. My guess is that this is the first WRX owner I've known with a story about SS. Every other story I've heard are from parents friends with their Outbacks or Foresters.

Alex set up a Dealer Review section that would be very useful if members could take the time to post after a buying experience.

I think my sale went ok at Roseville Subaru. If you decide to go there you can talk with Jerry Hunter - he's the Internet sales manager. Usually if you contact a dealer via the net they will have a special net department that will give you better deals than if you were to walk on to the lot.

Back when I first looked at buying a WRX (when they first first came out), I talked with Chris Jones. He knows his stuff about the cars and seems really good. In the end I used Roseville because after I contacted all the dealerships in our area via edmunds.com dealer notifier Roseville was the only one to call me back.

Dont go to Autowest Roseville Subaru. I had a bad experience with them and had to deal with a few problems with a brand new car. Jerry Hunter was cool, but the dealership itself sucks and once you buy the car it is a whole nother story.

Check out Maita off i-80 up past Arden.
