As of today, the car is totaled. Had a feeling it was gonna be the case and clearly as did others.

It's still all a bit unclear to me (I'm new to all this), but as of tomorrow the car will be released to Allstate (my insurance co.) then they'll deal with lien holder and then with the party at fault -- the trucking co. and their insurance co. As for me, it'll just be a waiting game.

As for a replacement, a 4th gen. Legacy, more likely a 2.5i, is what I'm aiming for.
