Question Fremont Toyota 2010 Black STi

Does anyone know the previous owner, or is the previous owner possibly on here? A friend of mine just bought the car and we are looking for any info on the car that we can get. Thanks

I know it is to late. He didn't check with me before buying. Hell, I didn't even know he was looking. But it is still kind of nice to be able to talk to the original owner and see what, if anything is up on the car. Or if he has the original parts or reciepts or any other info that would be nice to know.

If it ended up at a Toyota dealership (trade for a Toyota), I doubt the previous owner is a member here, let alone an enthusiast.

Are there any mods on the car now? Did you do a compression or leakdown test? Those factors alone can tell us most of what the previous owner can.

Or he had to give it up for a Sienna once the kid came along.

Not true. Easily could have been a trade at either a Suby or Toyota dealership, and "flipped off of frontline" or "traded and turned for profit" since there's two dealership only front line AutoAuctions each within 50 miles of here. Trade or Flip a WRX and pick up one or two Fleet/Rental Returns and sell an easier commodity. That never happens.

As for info on the prior owner, it's a violation of standards to disclose that now, (I think it's called the "Red Act" or something?), but there are a couple peeps here that could easily pull the data sheets on it from S.O.A.'s online records the same way I got mine* on the Impy and 4Runner. You just need to know how and who to ask. Ask the Service Manager at F.T. (Al ~I forget his last name) or General Manager (Fred Ahlstrom) to pull the service/turn sheets so he can inspect it for baselined fluids, etc and that will be a good indicator.

Why is that so true? *as I look out the window at my badgedless Suby with a fart cannon.*

Not gonna lie... If I have to get a minivan, I would push for a Sienna. But I would fight tooth and nail to keep the Suby.

A member/enthusiast wouldn't flip a new STi.
