dam so thats what happened yesterday! i was driving on fremont blvd and they blocked off the whole street from decoto to about darwin i think...there were hella cops. that was pretty dam crazy

based on the article I read this morning, the family is already making statements to support an insanity defense.

What I don't understand is how did he get all the way to SF (where he was apprehended) to hurt a bunch more people?

Its a big area, and if no one got a good look at the car / license plate in fremont it makes it a bit tough to catch the guy - also how would they have known he was driving to SF? Its not like they would have set up a road block or something....more calls led them to him.

 

I was there for the afthermath on Fremont BLVD... Got a ton of pics on my camera phone... they even interviewed me on the news. Didnt see myself however.

Hmm...driving home today passed the same area, a white SUV ran over a stop sign and almost took out part of the house. This area of Fremont is getting some bad luck..

 

when you do something that stupid you get what you deserve i say life in jail x 15 , if the guy was truely crazy he should not have had a drivers license to begin with.
people get away with this crap all the time when will california get a clue and start making the punishment bad enough to make someone think before they act.
if this happened in texas someone would have shot him before he had the chance to hit another person
