lol, my friend works for that company... i tried it a few times in the halls of SJSU... but yeah... u keep on "edge" and keep pushing like a skate board then jump on and ride it like a snowboard. its more fun on a hill tho i guess... altho if u catch the front edge when ur trying to heel stop ur going to eat sooo much **** on the road

Yea I wasn't a big fan of the freeboard. I've been skateboarding for 10yrs and snowboarding for 6yrs. I suck at the freeboard. I took a freeboard down an hill and was able to control it decently but its not quite the same as carving in snowboarding imo. I still prefer bombing hills on my regular skateboard, I can go faster and still have much more control.

I been freebording for a while and I think it's fun. But the only thing is that you need a hill to go down on if you want to carve. Like the place where it was first made S.F. also do you have bindings on your board? If not you should get a set. Also try not to have your weight on the center of the board when you try to push off. Just keep on getting on the board so you can get comfortable with the way you stand and place your weight.

my friend works for that company and my roommate also rides. They always ride in groups all over the place. There is a learning curve to it, but once you it get you can go up to 50 mph.

I think the best way to carve is that make sure your weight is commited to one edge of the board. Try not to wobble back and fourth from side to side so much. Basically just keep your weight on one side as you turn one direction then switch to the other side to carve the other direction. It just takes practice until you get used to the weight tranfers. Also speed is a plus the faster you go the more smoother it gets and feels like a snowboard. have you tried going to freeboard.com? I believe they have tips also .

i had a feeling speed was a factor in smoothing things out.

Does anyone know someone who can get a discount on a freeboard? They are a lot of money well compared to a longboard. Iv been longboarding for a lil over a year and i want to try out the freeboard since im more into carving than bombing hills.
