best part is, its universal for all casinos in vegas on the strip.

 

Ahhh Vegas. I drove there once with a buddy. I'll NEVER drive to Vegas again. The only place to be in Vegas when the sun is up is the pool at the Hard Rock!

 

i love the drive to vegas. loooove it. once you hit the 15 its exciting!

 

sooo....ya.. the car i borrowed got stolen out of the hotel's parking lot.. and they didnt so much as offer us a free meal at the buffet... total crap.. **** the riviera..

now i feel like a *****.. i am careful, i locked the car, treat it with respect and now i have no way back home from vegas... thank god i have a lot of family out here to help...

i found out it was stolen when we looked all over the parking garage and it wasnt around and the security confirmed it was not towed...
but atleast i had a good time sunday night before i got the horrible reality check

To all those who drive to Vegas, what is a good way back? Me and a girlfriend of mine are going there in October, from LA, but driving back to the bay from Vegas.. I wanna know what the best way back is, mostly time wise but if the ride is not boring that would be good too.

 

take the 15 south, then hit the 58 west which will take you over the tehachapie mountains then through bakersfield then to i-5 which you can then take north to 580

best way.

 

trust me... as someone who's been driving to vegas once a year for the past 15 years, the drive is BORING no matter what.

from fremont, to vegas, the way i go is from I-5 cut across at HWY 46 to HWY 99. from there, 99 to 58 then to barstow... then I-15...

xm and sirius helps. i used to record the howard stern show on video tape and listen to them for the 7+ hour drive... so glad now on sirius, his show is on 24/7... lol...

 

That totally sucks.

Looks like I might be going back in a couple weeks for another friend's bachelor party... Gotta recover from this one, first.

wow. sucks, I flew to vegas for the con, but didn't see you there. Did you actually go to any talks, or just there to join the scene ******?

 

i ended up not actually going in, i love computers and all but i hungout with family instead.

i was with the group that got arrested for some guy only one of us knew, throwing out an unopened can of redbull out of his top floor and almost hitting someone.

i wasnt in the room at the time thank god but everyone got banned from DC and riviera for life.. one guy even had a black badge too..
so to get this idiot back they all got a room at the alexis park on his credit card and this guy ran a script to auto bill the room for every movie they have...lets just say the bill was about 5700 bucks... that isnt counting the 3 times a day room service they ordered between 4 of them... whatever this dude deserved it.. i will post the site we are making on him with a pdf version of the total hotel room cost.

i went to a couple talks though.. i snuck in for a few i wanted to see.. just couldnt justify 100 bucks for like 3 talks.
