Had a stray wander to my house this week and I cant keep him. No tag, no chip. Walked him around the neighborhood for HOURS and posted on CL and with the SPCA. No results.

He's in great shape but was a bit on the skinny side. Knows some basic commands (English not German) and is totally nice. Neutered, housebroken, and crate trained. Don't want to take him to the pound and haven't had luck getting the GS rescue place on the phone.

I have some friends that work with H.A.L.O. (Homeless Animals Lifeline Organization). If you end up not finding someone to take the dog you can contact them about taking the dog in for adoption.

I might be interested in taking him in. I have a 1 year old Belgian Malinois that's super friendly, but he gets a little lonely at the house when I'm gone. These two will probably get along great.
