Ok. I've marked it on the calendar and I'll be there. I'll bring some Guiness and some ESB for those of us that refuse to drink the girly beer. Hey Whit, if you're leaving from Antioch, do you mind if I follow you up?

I thought about a GT30....but it's kind of expensive and it's a more difficult install. Some of the GT30 kits are still very large, I used to have a 3037=3076=AVO 500=freaking big turbo lag.

My last turbo was an 18G and both the response and the torque punch are impressive and low on the RPM scale.

Stupid head A??? j/k

I look forward to seein what the wagon puts down @ the track.

Keep in mind you have a bigger engine now along with better flowing heads/cams.

Not that your "backyard" special green will be anything to sneeze @.

BTW the free beer thing is still in effect

My old engine was a Crawford 2.4 with closed deck, a very well built machine and only about 6% smaller than the 2.5 I have now...so I don't really think that micro change in displacement will mean anything, but I wouldn't say "bigger engine".

Well...I would hope that I run 12's....my best in the 18G was a 12.7x, but we will see, my car is about 60 lbs heavier now, 50 lbs of dynamat and 10 lbs of driver.

I guess it's possible to run very high 11's...maybe not, I'm not a great driver.

I'm not stripping the dynamat, it does help with the interior sound level, but not as much as it costs Carpet padding does a better job of just sound absorbtion.

I don't have a turbo right now or even a tune and my redline is sitting at 4000 rpms...so the only way I can run an 11 right now is if I push my car off a cliff
