Could be fun.
You would think they could at least try to clean the interior for the video
That drag race was a joke. Early launch and the viper hit the brakes right after take off

I've been following this kit for awhile now and it scores major points for the Subie drivetrain. Unfortunately they phoned in the bodywork though. Factory Five can produce a nice looking body, but they should have had someone else design it.
My buddy has a factory five cobra which i've driven a few times and its a blast to drive. The 818 is 400lbs lighter then a miata and its a mid engine car. I bet the handling/braking is ridiculous. I had a Road & Track magazine a couple of months back that had the testing on it. Here are the numbers if anyones interested, from a performance stand point its very impressive...
1/4 mile = 12.5 @ 112
0-60 = 3.8 sec
Skid = 1.12g

If in doubt, FLAT OUT

Takes them a LOOONG time to fabricate in addition to their other orders, so it will be mid next year before the kit is delivered. So he will be working on getting everything on the drivetrain on the wrecked WRX rebuilt and pulling parts in for the build until then. I'll start getting some pics and info once he reaches the tear down and part out of the WRX, but it is currently still a running car.
