FP Green on 2.0L -- WHos done it?

FP Green on 2.0L -- WHos done it?

Anyone in the area put an FP green on a 2.0L wrx?

yes but it is not good unless you do a full motor build and can rev your car to about 9,000rpm the 2.0 just does not have the poers to really push it, go with a 18 or 20 G

From the plots I've seen on a 2.0 the Green comes on hard around 4300-4500. On a ej205 it might be a little too much, but on a jdm 2.0 you would have a nice powerband. You wouldn't need 9k, the green would fall off before that.

4500 aint bad at all.

So you dont think the motor could handle it for long? Tranny probably couldnt either..

yea it's really not too bad but on the stock 5 speed when you shift from certain gears you don't always land back in the powerband. I ran a large turbo on the ej205 that fully spooled at 4600-4700 and it was fun but the powerband was peaky and on the 5 speed I was often out of it when shifting up a gear. A large turb on a 2.0 doesn't make that much torque so it really doesn't put that much stress on the 5 speed.

bingo on all points mentioned.

If you absolutely must, at least raise the rev limiter to 7500.
