Found local parts store with good oil!

Napa autoparts in Mowry carries

Royal purple oils for 5.82 a quart

and a FULL LINE of Redline oils and fluids,

a quart of redline motor oil is 7.95
they also have water wetter, and all the tranny fluid etc.

hopefully this helps, also btw, whats a good manual transmission fluid which u guys?

if a local vendor sells these oils, i'd probably rather buy from them, to promote business for them rather than a chain...but if they dont.. napa is the place to go

Isn't the Ghetto on the West side of Dumbarton though?

To answer the tranny fluid question stick with plain old GL5 oil, Subaru trannies prefer it to the fashionable stuff.

the best price for REAL synthetic oil (Redline) is at a Monument Auto Parts store.

Long ago, they were the first to carry Redline, a new company, so they get the best jobber prices.

I don't dig on the purple or any of that other stuff...
