I picked this up yesterday. Ray and I mashed on it all day. I play with the MS wheel. This game rocks!!!!. I kind of feel funny about calling it a game. It's no game... WHo ever said that it was arcade like is crazy. These cars act just as they should. It seems as though they did tweak the simulation engine a bit for the better. Braking, throttle, steering, everything does as it should. I found driving the '10 Camaro to be pretty damn sweet. This is once again a true driving simulator. Turn 10 and XBOX make a great team. It shows through in this simulator. Get it, and play the ish out of it....

The physics feel pretty much just like Forza 2, as do the graphics using non-HD. The tracks are also the same... The Laguna Seca they have in the game is completely unchanged since Forza 1. Since then, the real track has changed dramatically and they haven't updated it... However with that said, the game is a blast to play if you are just seeking a fun game. It is in no way more a racing sim then F2 was. You want a SIM get iracing or GTR.

I found it to be slightly better than F2 on all accounts. I would like to see them add more tracks. Even if they opened it to outside sources to make tracks. Add a lot of those smaller tracks like buttonwillow and what not.
But I did find that the handling of the cars does respond to input a bit better than F2. I know 5 hours vanished really quickly.
like jeff was saying about the 10 camaro. I thought it was gonna be a mess to drive but as long as you kept your pedal foot in check it handles really well. You can put it into a drift or oversteer correction really easily if you like. haaaa.
I enjoyed it.
One bad thing was load times. Takes a friggin year to load.

i still need to get this game!
to fix load times you should play from hard drive, plus your system doesnt heat up soo much too. downside is it takes some space, and you still need to use the disc to play games.

Playing it from the hard drive does almost nothing. Still takes forever to load.

Takes less time to load entire maps on COD.
But the AI is pretty good. The don't just surrender lines like most driving games do and they don't blindly follow lines either. Each car seems to have it's own personality on the track.
I HATE the damn PT Cruiser.
