Thats gross. I think if we all really know what went on without food we would puke...

 

Many of you dont know this about me, but I spent 2 years of my life homeless. Many times I ate from trash cans, and while its not something to be proud of, I did it because it was that...or starve to death.

Think about that ok.

 

Well there is reason to do it at that time. If it is food out of the trash or not at all then I would do as you did and what is needed to survive. But if you were not homeless and could get other food for yourself would you still eat the donut out of the trash can?

 

I can understand if your homeless cus you will do about anything to eat.. but people who have the means to eat and still pull out of the trash.. thats just plain yucky... my father said he was homeless in the 60's and he stood outside mcd's cus they did a dump every hour or something like that and he said it was cool cus all the burgers were still wrapped.. If i have the means for food i wont go dig in the trash but i dont think this thread was intended to insult people who are homeless

in elementry school i had this teacher who ate a bag of apples that was thrown in the trash. after the class Ewww'd he tried to argue that it was still good because it was in a baggy.

 

its in the safety zone.
