Fog Lights 06 WRX

I was just wondering if anyone knew the part# or best replacement parts for the stock fog light bulbs on the 06 wrx wagon? Also, wondering what the best replacement bulbs are for the stock lights. TIA -Sean

Why are they pointless?? my 4.3k HID fogs are brighter then my 6k HID headlights, It a big difference In light when I turn them off.

OP go to DDMtuning.com and order up a set of HID with the power harness, Best HID IMO have never flickered, always light right away and they arent expensive. Been running a set of DDM lights for 2 years now lows and fogs and have never had a problem.

I have never actually been In heavy enough fog where I couldn't see 10' in front of me, just get the 3k or 4.3k lights for the fogs so Its not such a blueish white light.

It would cool to run HID in the fog location, but retrofit a small hid projector for correct lighting output.

This however would still not do well in fog. Bay area does not really have to worry about that though.

I go to UCSC and on mornings even in the spring there would be fog so thick that you could only see like 15ft in front of you. Mostly cause ucsc is ****en up high in the mountaints haha. That and 17 is actually why i need my yellows.

HID fogs are less efficiency in heavy fog is what im trying to say lols. But if u just in the bay it shouldn't be an issue.

Also i actually have DDMs in my headlights too =), just not the fogs lol

Should go with a yellow set, at least that's what my friend did to his fogs. (HID).

Osram yellow bulbs or osram +90 if you don't want the yellow. You can actually get them pretty cheap on ebay.

Don't do HID's. The hawkeye fog lights are too compact too handle the heat of HID bulbs and it's very possible that something bad may happen.

You gotta take off the bumper to access the fog lamps.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but vietpunk916, how did you ground your HID H3s? The stock H3 bulbs have just the positive wire and the ground is the bulb itself, whereas my HID H3s have separate posi and neg wires. Not sure where/how to ground them. Thanks in advance
