The America's Tire on Hamilton Ave in SJ price matched. But then again that was the first time I ever even asked. Figured it couldn't hurt to try.

That sucks. I'd drop by a tire shop anyways. They might be able to swing it.
I wouldn't pay any more than $25. I think I paid like $15 for my last one. It seriously takes 20 minutes.

I could turn them in 20 minutes on a completely manual tire machine.

Ah, I was assuming you had to do a quick gluey string or mushroom plug repair. I have a plugger for emergency motorcycle repairs. The repair holds for a few days, but it doesn't last for long.

I thought that America's normally did the unmount/patch type repair. Maybe now that they have gone to the 'free repair' model, they are now plugging from the outside?
