First FR-S/BRZ to eat a phone pole...

Here's a link to Jalopnik, who has a report of the first (known) FR-S crash:

The Wait For The First Scion FR-S Crash Is Over

At least he mans up and lets everyone know he feels bad, and it was his fault, and doesn't try to blame the car. Kudos for taking responsibility (not so much for crashing).

Hahaha I called this. The story would be cherry if it had a stereotypical scion owner too though... Lets wait for that part next time.

With the traction control off these cars slide pretty easily, especially with a sharp turn of the wheel and a romp on the gas. This is why I took my frs to sears point last Wednesday to slide it around and see how it behaves. This guy could have got the result he wanted by leaving the TC on. The car is very forgiving with TC on or VSC in sport mode.

Yup. That's what I was thinking too

Dumb drivers. They make our insurance higher.

On a nicer note, I saw my first BRZ on the road on Friday!
