So I'm driving on the freeway when suddenly it feels like I hit a brick wall, lost all power and then the CEL comes on. Car slows down to 35mph on 680 going up a hill. All bad. Cars honking, people high beaming, meanwhile I'm able to limp the car to the nearest exit with the hazards on and then into a parking lot.

Mind you the EVO has a newly rebuilt motor, so I'm thinking the ****ing thing just blew up. Anyways, it turned out to be a blown intercooler hose. Way to go. Car ****s up the first day it's out of the shop. Hopefully it's not a sign of things to come...

That would happen to me all the time, worst part was it would always be the hose behind the bumper so I would have to take the bumper off on the side of the road to fix it

one time it poped right next to a sti lol it was embrassing. too much boost lol
