Fingerprint scanner

I just got the MS fingerprint scanner for personal home use. I was overwhealmed with passwords so I wanted to give it a try. While I am sure its no Pentagon level security, it works great. Plus, I get to use my middle finger every 30 min or so, haha.

Great gadget!

+1

Play Doh > fingerprint scanner.
Thats cool though. I mean having to type in passwords all day does get old. Plus I have no room to talk crap about odd gadgets considering I own a USB coffee cup warmer.

in a few months we're upgrading our system to use that.

With a finger print the persons picture, name, address, phone #, DL # etc will all come up.

Playdoh may be able to full the system, but that won't matter as the persons picture is gonna come up anyways

IBM (or is it now lenovo?) laptops have something similar to these. Pretty cool, but I'm sure there's gonna be some way to get around these, considering everything else people have fun hacking into.

Yeah, but that would involve getting me to stick my finger into a mold, right? I think thats the next most impossible thing to do after cutting my finger off completely.
